• There are currently 2 applications underway:
  • The revised Edward Davies application - unanimously rejected by Wychavon District Council on 11th September 2014
  • This Edward Davies application has gone to appeal, and we expect to hear the decision of the Planning Inspectorate before Christmas
  • A new application from a second applicant - trading as F C Jones, currently with the Environment Agency
  • These combined applications, if successful, would bring the number of chicken sheds up to 8, housing a total of over 400,000 chickens
  • This means that, every year, approximately 3 million chickens would be moved into and out of Upton Snodsbury
  • The scale of these operations is huge – each shed is the length of 11 London buses – have a look at the scale
  • The potential impact on our beautiful countryside is devastating, and there is scope for even more development - look at the aerial view of what might happen!
  • Please continue to raise your objections and please sign our On-Line Petition
