• The Edward Davies application for 4 chicken sheds was rejected by Wychavon District Council and by the Planning Inspectorate

  • However, another application for a 250,000 broiler chicken unit in an adjacent field was made by Kinsey Hern (site is called Frogmore Farm)
  • The Environment Agency has now issued a Draft Environmental Permit for Frogmore Farm – an initial step prior to Kinsey Hern applying for Planning Permission
  • Wychavon Parishes Action Group (WPAG) have issued a Press Release (19th April 2016) regarding the issue of ‘thinning’ of poultry flocks and the link to the increasing incidence of Campylobacter -  an infection which causes the deaths of 100 people each year in the UK 
  • The Draft Permit for Kinsey Hern’s Frogmore Farm Application is about to be issued which uses 'thinning'
